General Update

Not much new to report lately. Christmas vacation draws closer and closer as the days go by. As of today, I leave in 16 days). Am I excited? Definitely. Nervous? Even more so. I've learned a valuable lesson leading up to the flight. A minor fear of flying + a major fear of heights is a bad combination.In more immediate news, I shaved 20 minutes ago. Not important to anyone other than me really, because I was the one that was getting itchy, but I feel better and wanted to share that bit of good news anyway. Yay me.Also, by Monday, I should be done with shopping for vacation. The checking account will be a lot more barren, but it's necessary. Not having an unlimited amount of money to spend sucks.Um... that's about it, really. Sad, but that's how it goes sometimes.Oh yeah, and I just ordered my new laptop this morning. hehe

Bored out of my mind (or maybe just out of my mind)

Setting11:30 PM, the Hardy house. Our hero, Ellis, is cold. This is supported by his wardrobe- khaki pants, shirt, and black leather jacket. Feet propped up on the desk, keyboard in lap, he looks relaxed despite the chill. In front of him, on his computer monitor, is the LiveJournal client he is using for the first time. He flexes his cold, stiff fingers, and begins to typeI think this is a first for me, an update that didn't take me a year to get around to. Not much going on tonight. My family got back from their vacation tonight, so my week home alone is over. The bright side is my brother will be back at work Monday morning to replace his idiot jackass moron backup, who barely escaped the week without being strangled.So anyway, my family go back tonight, and my grandparents got back from China last week, so we all went to their house for dinner and the usual vacation gift exchange. I ended the night with two new shirts, a much needed watch cap, and a monkey that goes "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH AAH AAH AAH!" when you squeeze him, just like all monkeys should do.Then I went to see The Ring again. It was just like I remembered it- creepy, disturbing, and awesome. Only this time, I had my cousins with me so I could screw with their heads at appropriate times. :-)On the hair front, I've decided to bow to the wishes of my mother, who threatened to disown me if I went to Germany for Christmas with purple hair. After that, though, anything is fair game. At least this way I'll have a chance to pick out the perfect haircut and all. I might go ahead and bleach before then, though, just to do something different.

I've got a few minutes, so I'll just say that I'll deal with this later, seeing as me + no sleep = grumpy little monkey.

Ok, so it's only been a year and a month since I've written in here. Still not much to say, except... well, nothing. It's been so long I've fallen out of contact with just about everyone I talked to when I created this thing. I, of course, blame myself completely for that (as well as a lot of other stupid things I let happen before my ex and I broke up). But, things are different now. Single for the past year and a half or so, and coming along quite nicely. :-)
